SOLD Alexander McQueen Vintage blazer from FW ‘99 McQueen cited cult horror flick The Shining as inspo behind ‘The Overlook’ his FW ‘99 show. However, what he presented was more sublime than scary. Set in a Victorian-themed snow globe, models paraded McQueen’s poetic collection with impeccably tailored pieces, laser cut hardware & Intricate panel & patchwork details. All of which are present in this stunning blazer. Precisely tailored to skim one’s form, this sharp single-breasted blazer also features a designed -in belt & elegant gold finished buckle. Beautifully cut, this garment also doubles as a time capsule of sorts. A long lasting reminder of McQueen’s legacy, and that, Grandioso and theatrics aside, McQueen was simply such an impressive designer, and truly a master of his craft.
