Alexander McQueen 2006 Purple Velvet Cocktail Dress

Alexander McQueen purple velvet dress with portrait collar from the 2000s. Neckline is just slightly off the shoulder with a sculpturally draped effect and a peekaboo interior trim in purple grosgrain. Two pleats at side front waist and two more at back give the skirt just the slightest bubble effect. Purple band in contrasting fabric at waist fastens with four hook and eyes at side. Fully lined, side zip with hook and eye. 90% cotton, 10% silk. 100% silk trim. Fully lined in 100% silk. Made in Italy. Size It 42, approximate US 6, but may run small, see measurements. Some slight stretch, measurements taken unstretched. Bust (underarm to underarm) 34". Waist 28". Hip up to 42". Length (shoulder to hem) 39". Excellent condition, gently worn with no flaws to note.
