This is a pair of the Alden All Weather Walker in the Alpine grain leather. Although they were well-cared for, you can see scratch on the side of the right shoe which happened when a steel glass door swiped the side of the shoe as it closed causing that scratch. I applied a darker shade of polish to try to blend it to the rest of the shoe. As you can see from pics, depending on the light, the scratch is more apparent at times and not so much at other times. Most people will never notice it but for total transparency, I tried to show it in a light when it’s most noticeable as well as a close-up. It shows up more in photos than it does to the naked eye. If you are looking for a perfect shoe, this is not your pair. If you’re looking for a rugged, knock-around shoe with lots of life on them that will only get better with age and more blemishes and more patina, this shoe is for you. This shoe currently retails for $684.00. Because of the blemish, the price is a fraction of what it would cost new and almost about half of what you would pay for it used in very good condition (w/o the scratch, it would easily sell for $300). The All Weather Walker is a classic shoe with its Alpine grain leather and hefty crepe outsole. If you can look past the imperfection, you’re getting a quality-crafted shoe for a fraction of the cost. Please look at the pics for the overall condition of the shoe. Comes w/original box.
