African hand carved ebony figure hippopotamus in a suit and tie. The detailed carving is fabulous especially the grumpy facial expression. Purchased on a trip to Africa and stored carefully in a smoke free home. Used in work office as desk decor for a few years. A few small marks are noted in the photos, as I don’t remember if they are part of the ebony or are marks from normal handling. Downsizing and selling from my personal collection.
