They can be narrowed if year with thick socks but in my experience they don’t run narrow, no…
I think the concern is if you’re 8.5 they might run small on your feet
Bc I believe 8.5 would be like 40 European

I'm a size 9 w/ a narrow foot and when I click on the size chart on this page, it says a US 9 is "EU 8.5, 9". I'm looking to buy these for a trip to Europe in May so need them to fit well. Your answer to allisontaylored makes me a bit nervous to try...you think they'd run small on an 8.5? Maybe I should go on their site and read reviews to see what people say there.
