The box contains 24 smaller boxes with 42 puzzle pieces each. Each day December 1-24 a section of the puzzle will be assembled. The puzzle pieces in each interior box are numbered 1-24 on their backs. Day one box pieces are numbered 1, day two pieces are numbered 2, etc. At the end of the season, the pieces can be restored in their original box, and the puzzle can be reassembled the next holiday season.
