Adorable 70’s era minidress with matching bloomers

This is the cutest little set! But a little puzzling as well. The bloomers are a slightly deeper aqua shade than the dress. And the construction is a lot more rudimentary than that of the dress. So I think that either the dress was store bought and the bloomers handmade, OR, they were both handmade, but the bloomers were not worn and consequently washed, as often. I think the first theory is the most likely. However, there are no tags in either garment to confirm my hunch, so please keep in mind that it is pure speculation on my part. Regardless, this is just really cute, and so very representative of the fashion in the early 70’s. Laundered and pressed with no flaws, other than a few loose threads here and there, and one loose (but still attached) button. A great find for any vintage lover. Measurements (flat): W: 14 in. B: 16.5 in. H: 17 in. Shoulder to hem: 30.5 in. Waist to hem: 18 in.
