thrifty_waters @disneygurl2u Share shows are events curated with specific inventory to sell, such as the theme I’m doing (Wednesday). Hosts can choose to do a live show or a silent show, which is what I’m doing, where they just showcase listings to be auctioned off for sale, no video. The appeal of share shows is in having a “theme” of curated listings for buyers to pick from. Basically, hosts (in this case, me) act as a platform to showcase a variety of listings of their own and from different sellers.

thrifty_waters @disneygurl2u The original sellers earn money if their item sells during the show, same with the host. No one makes $ off another’s sale. You’re welcome to just come by and see how it works tomorrow if you want (or there’s usually lots of others you can watch by going to your feed, then clicking “All Posh Shows”. I’ll likely do the show again in the future! I’m new to hosting myself. Thanks

disneygurl2u @thrifty_waters how does the earnings work- does the original seller get 80% of the sale while Poshmark still takes 20%? Or is that 80% profit split with the person who is auctioning it and if so, how much is earned?

thrifty_waters @disneygurl2u the host does not earn any of other seller’s $. You earn the same as you would the usual way. I’m doing this show because I want to do a Wednesday Addams themed show but don’t have enough listings so I’m looking for others sellers.
