Gorgeous Amilcare Santini (1910-1975) of Florence Italy object d' art sculpture of nude couple kissing (Adam & Eve?). Beautifully crafted to look like a more expensive piece. Santini was trained as a sculptor in Italy and found a way to mix resin with alabaster to pour molds of his works and recreate famous works of other well-known artists. This piece is signed. Condition is Very Good. No chips, cracks, repairs. Base has glued on velvet pad to protect surfaces. The sculpture measures 15" tall with a 7 1/4" X 4 7/8" base. The piece is solid with an unboxed weight of over 5 1/2 pounds. It will not tip over easily if you have small children or animals. It would be lovely on a pedestal, shelf, or entryway table.
