Abstract Expressionist Mixed Media Diptych on Wood. Untitled and Unsigned. The artworks may or may not be a combination of watercolor, pastel, conte, and ink wash. It is difficult for me to tell. In any regard, they are lovely. Both sections make use of the same palette of shades of gold, pink, steel blue, and black. Both have colored areas outlined in black. One piece has thick, soft, curved lines and pastel colors. The other has angular, frenetic lines with a combination of tertiary and more intense colors. The use of color is exquisite. Each piece is 6 inches x 6 inches x 1.5 inches. The wood sides are painted matte black. They do not come with hardware for hanging. These are in excellent condition, with no apparent damage.
