Poshmark as a platform now offers partial refunds in cases when the customer is unhappy with what they have ordered and they open a case with Poshmark.
I will NOT be using this feature.
Orders from my closet are non-refundable unless a case is opened with Poshmark and they determine it appropriate. If so, the original item must be RETURNED for a refund.
Therefore, please review all available photos, measurements, colors, sizes, and descriptions before placing an order. If you have a question, please ask before purchase.
I’m not trying to be mean, I’m only trying to keep the shopping experience on Poshmark honest and efficient.

@eoseaberg I got an email today for like a September posh newsletter I guess and it mentioned this feature 🙄 So not a fan. Crossing my fingers I don’t run into issues with it.

@thetealshelf I totally get it. That feature seems like it is just going to open Pandora's Box... not a fan either. And we're not offering that as an option. We're practically giving away what we sell anyway...

the 2nd one now I've red in the group🤩👏👏👏👏👏👏👏Agreed! I also will be ignoring such for it leaves a huge door open for those nasty scam buyers.

@hyflex yup and the truth of the matter is that there are nasty buyers unfortunately. Either buy the item and keep it or open a legitimate case and have posh determine it’s eligible for full return and refund. No game playing! 😤

@hyflex oh I wouldn’t even hesitate. I’ve learned my lesson in the past giving into a persistent rude/low ball buyer. Not worth the troubles that follow the sale.

Not every buyer is being a cheap jerk or a nasty buyer or a rude/low ball buyer. Some sellers just don't list the product with the correct information and specs. You shouldn't group all buyers as that. It's rude to say those things.

@maureencarstens As I finished my post with, I wasn’t attempting to be mean. I’ve been doing this many years and unfortunately there are some buyers who are dishonest. I’m happy to accept full returns still if something is found that I did not disclose- usually this is not the case but I do recognize I’m not perfect. I’m just opting to not participate in partial refunds as some other buyers might opt to participate and I want to be transparent with shoppers 😁

@thetealshelf that's fair, I'm really just asking for sellers not to be rude and call buyers names and act like they're all scumbags because they asked for a discount. The two times I have purchased from Poshmark. I was screwed by the the seller. One kept telling me she sent the item and continued to tell me that and she never sent it. The second item was not at all as described. There are just as many bad sellers as there are bad buyers.

@maureencarstens I’ve had similar buying experiences myself- I know what a disappointment it can be. It’s why I try my best to be as clear as possible and always encourage communication. There was a time when Poshmark was 100% of my income and is some of why I take it quite seriously. I do hope you have better shopping experiences in the future.

@thetealshelf thank you but, I'm a liitle hesitant to ourchase anything at Poshmark since I've been screwed the two times that I have. I always try to make sure the seller has a good selling reputation. There are to many dishonest people, buyers and sellers. I just don't understand why people try to con people. It's beyond conceivable to me. I always try to be as honest as I can. Anyway thank you have a great evening
