angelaeagle13 @lilyanngeorge My daughter was in a few background shots. We lived in the same city as Abby's original atudio. Never imagined so much fame would come out of Penn Hills. She is a great choreographer, though, and has an amazing ability to watch a dance and pick out all the problems. This isn't a negative statement. It is why she had so many amazing dancers.

angelaeagle13 @lilyanngeorge When my daughter first started dance at age 5, Melissa was the receptionist, and Maddie helped out with her preschool class. Maddie always helped out, even after fame. As for the show, I love watching the dances, but the story line is 95% fake. The moms are nice people and support each other, especially Melissa. Abby does have a temper, but also a big heart. Either Melissa or Abby or both financially supported a dancer, my daughter's age, whose mom was struggling.

lilyanngeorge @angelaeagle13 wow! It does seem like the show is a little bit dramatic. Mellisa was always portrayed as a stuck up mom who would do anything to get her daughters ahead. So did you talk to Maddie ever? Have you personally talked to Abby? I just love the show so much

angelaeagle13 @lilyanngeorge yes, I have talked to Abby and most of the original moms. It just happened to be our local studio. Melissa is an extremely kind and warm person who works a lot with LA's homeless.
