@ecoensembles I would say a 6 to 8! I’m a size 4 and I had ordered a M because I didn’t want too much of a ‘bodycon’ look, but it just was a little too big around the waist. However it’s nice and stretchy so I thinks 6 or 8 would be perfect in this skirt!

Is the waist band a thick elastic band covered by fabric?

@mommy2katrina correct! If you look at the last picture, you can see the height of the waistband, but it’s the same soft fabric
