The previous year, before the pandemic, I was fortunate enough to be invited to join the HistoryMiami museum for the opening of an exhibit of Walter Mercado’s life and legacy. The also happened to end up being his very last public appearance. At the time, they were also filming Mucho Mucho Amor: The Legend of Walter Mercado & we made the cut! I happened to meet this amazing human being, whose style is as legendary as his spiritual abilities, and it so happened we were matching outfits! He took so much time to complement me and said it must be more than a coincidence that we happened to be in matching colors and that he adored every piece I was wearing that night.
