ARATTA Kimono

Who doesn’t love a little Aratta in their closet!! I certainly do! I purchased her from a shop—far too small for me so had my daugher in mind. This Aratta beauty was a bit discounted because there was a tear under the right back arm at the seam upon purchase. Perhaps everyone thought they were Cinderella and wanted this cloak to fit but alas!..but they too found it to small in places and only the real Princess will magically transform while wearing it. I am no seamstress but I sewed the small tear back together. It’s on the seam of printed fabric so pretty incognito. A tailor could make it a perfect repair. So I’ve discounted her because of the repair and she will be absolutely stunning on the right physique. Wear it open or closed and enjoy the small metal chubby buttons sewn to the velvet black trim. And the back…the back, the back, the back…the embroidered back…is gorgeous. So gorgeous that I would also try it on back to front, buttons in back creating a deep V. Slip dress underneath—Make the most of your investment! Duster, dress or fabulous lounging wrap…don’t wait too long if you love the brand. Edgy. Cool. Textures. Details.
