A.P.C./Rue Madame Paris dark stretch denim wrap skirt. The "denim" is lighter weight and finer-gauge than standard denim, so it has a dressier look. My camera made the flatlay pics look like it has fading, it does NOT. Shiny black faux-patent-leather waist. Front slash pockets. Please note, this looks like it is not laying flat on me, because this is too small for me. Will lay flat on someone with smaller hip/bum than me! :) Tagged as 36, like a US 2/4: Waist is 28.5", hip 37", length is 20.25".

jmeds_threds @felltoearth it's going to hit wherever you are 28.5". It hit me a couple fingerwidths below my belly button, but you can see it's kind of 'pulling' at my hips, because it's not made for my big booty. 😆

jmeds_threds @felltoearth the 28.5" measurement is taken at the top edge (was taken flat and doubled). I don't think it was designed specifically to sit very high or very low, but it will sit wherever your body is 28.5". I recommend you measure your favorite-fitting non-stretch skirt to see how it compares with the measurements in the description.

jmeds_threds @felltoearth 28.5" will sit lower IN GENERAL on a 2/4, but we're all shaped differently, so it's hard to say exactly where it's going to sit on someone. For sure this was not designed as an extreme high or low, it's moderate, just can't guarantee exactly where it will sit. Hope this helps! :)

jmeds_threds @felltoearth I honestly don't know what my actual body measures... I buy a LOT of clothes online, most are vintage, so they don't have tagged sizes. So I rely heavily on measurements, and I go by what the measurements of my favorite clothes are. I only order skirts with hip of 38" and up, and pants at 39" and up, because that's what my best-fitting clothes measure. You don't want the measurements of a non-stretch item to MATCH your skin measurement, because then it will fit as tight as your skin

jmeds_threds With something knit or super stretchy, that's not bad, but even though this fabric has a little 'give', the way it's constructed it's not meant to fit maxed-out or stretched. So if your favorite non-stretch skirt or dress measures 37" at the hip, this probably will work. If your BODY measures 37", this will fit as tight as your body, which may make it not lay flat, like what happened when I tried it on.
