ANTIQUE Silver & Gilt Plated Plaque - Embossed With Nativity of The Christ Scene

This is a beautiful devorative piece was made in the late 19th century. Maker's sticker reads: "Russian Icon." Silver and gilt plated, the antique is made in Poland. The front of the plaque is embossed with scenes from the nativity of Christ, adorned with scroll. The back is covered with black velvet material.The label on the back reads: "Trinity| Anunciation| Virginis Natavity| Natavity of Christ| Presentation of the Virgin in the Temple| Russian end 19-th.c." The piece measures 7½" L x 5½" W x 1" H (20 x 14cm). This antique plaque is in excellent pre-owned condition.
