ANTIQUE STONEWARE WHISKEY JUG MOONSHINE CROCK BROWN SUGAR GLAZE

This antique stoneware whiskey jug or moonshine jug crock has a cognac brown sugar colored glaze. Measuring 7-3/4”x7-3/4”, it is very weighty & has a chunky but smooth handle which is comfy feeling in the hand. He’s in EVC, & the glaze is still glossy, with the obvious signs of it being hand crafted as the glaze towards the bottom in some parts doesn’t fully encumber the piece (the light brown at base is the first coating of glaze). There are a few pock marks, I’m not sure if they’re original to the piece or if they occurred through time, & there’s some white marks on one side. Extremely collectible, it’s perfect for your farmhouse home as it is rustic & primitive, although, the industrial decor trend is now incorporating old jugs & crocks as well! I’ve also seen these antique pieces in cigar lounges, as speakeasies have become extremely trendy, & the return of whiskey, bourbon, & moonshine very popular! * Due to the heavy weight of this beauty, it cannot be bundled.
