ANTIQUE GEM WAFFLE BOTTOM GLASS INKWELL 1912 GLOWY URANIUM ART DECO ART NOUVEAU

This antique inkwell is fantastic for adding to you industrial, art deco, or art nouveau office decor! By C&D Manufacturing Co, it’s called The Gem, and was manufactured in 1911 & 1912. Measuring 3” square x 1-1/2”T, it has beveled edges & a waffle base, with a black cap, which through research, some say is Bakelite. In wonderful condition, consistent with age & use, it has a chip on one of the corners on the base, but it’s smooth, which leads me to believe that it is quite old! (Please view last pic before glowy pic.) He has sticker residue from when it was purchased at an antique store, I’ll leave that to you to remove. Now for the really fun part - uranium was used in the molten glass mix, so when exposed to UV light, it glows neon green!
