ANTIQUE FRENCH Religious Picture Locket Charm Pendant~ 1920s Way of the Cross

Presenting an outstanding, French, Antique, Religious, WAY OF THE CROSS, book locket, pendant/charm. This devotional locket measures 1" x 3/4" x 1/4" deep with a bail that allows hanging from chain or bracelet. Constructed of brass tone metal, in a book shape, the front and back cover feature Cross and Lilly Stalk raised symbols. A thick layer of dark blue enamel is expertly hand-painted around the Cross and Lilly front cover design. Eight (8) hinged, metal pages have 14 Stations of the Cross illustrations adhered to the pages. Hinged bookbinding and flip-over book clasp are secure. This 1920s Catholic Devotional locket was part of a large purchase from Southern France. Excellent antique condition - polish to satisfaction.
