ANTIQUE CHILD'S PEWTER TEA SET, DOLL TEA PARTY SET OVER 100 YEARS' OLD

This wonderful antique child's tea set is over 100 years old. My mother had it as a child and she let me play with it when I was a little girl. I believe it was originally my grandmother's. My mom was born in 1914 so it would have been in the early 1920's when she was a child. As it looks more Victorian in design, I really think it must have been my grandmother who enjoyed it first in Montreal, Quebec. There is a “W” or “M” with what looks like an arrow engraved on the bottom of the teapot. The set is made of Pewter or some type of Pewter alloy with a very intricate design. The spouts are fancy animal heads. There is a 3” teapot, a 2 1/4” creamer, (2) a 2 1/4" sugar bowl, 1 1/4” cups and (4) 3 1/2” Diameter saucers. All of the pieces are in very good antique condition, with the creamer having a small crack/dent on the rim. I don't know how many pieces were in the set originally, but these are the survivors after so many years. It is quite unusual in design and very ornate. A fabulous addition for anyone collecting miniature antique tea sets!
