With beautiful intricate detail, this Ford Model A antique bronze tie tack is substantial and sturdy. The automobile measures 7/8-inch wide x 1/2-inch tall x 1/4–inch deep in a 3-D configuration. The tie tack is pre-owned and in excellent condition, with a locking pin clasp and chain. The bar on the chain has discoloration on half of one side. Would almost make a great Monopoly token!
● The Model T was introduced to the world in 1908. Henry Ford wanted the Model T to be affordable, simple to operate, and durable. The vehicle was one of the first mass-production vehicles, allowing Ford to achieve his aim of manufacturing the universal car. The car was sold from 1908 to 1927. Modern cars were first built in 1885 in Germany by Karl Benz, and the first American cars in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1893 by Charles and Frank Duryea. The Model T was affordable and it became so popular at one point that a majority of Americans owned one, directly helping rural Americans become more connected with the rest of the country and leading to the numbered highway system.
● You will receive your ultrasonically cleaned tie tack on a card in a soft velvet gift pouch, shipped in a USPS small flat rate box.
