ANNA SUI Vintage Y2K Green Fringe Mini Shift Dress; Teal Flower Trim SZ 10/12 L

This whimsical shift dress from Anna Sui is reminiscent 1960s "sack" dresses, but with a lot more going on! The dress itself is simply a beige nylon mesh onto which all the decorative trims are applied. A variety of green fringes are attached to the front and back of the dress, each of which is accented with rows of tiny gold circles. The sides of the dress are a contrasting modernist design of squares outlined in little black circles and filled with green fringe. The bateau neckline is trimmed with alternating dark and light teal flowers outlined in gold cord. The same floral trim runs down each side of the front of the dress and accentuates the transition between the two patterns. The dress is sleeveless, is fully lined in beige fabric, and closure is with a back zipper. The mesh is labeled 100% nylon, and the lining is labeled polyester. The fringes are not labeled but are probably a synthetic blend. Labeled US size 12. CONDITION Excellent condition overall with some wear to the fringe in about four squares on both sides at the bottom of the dress. (The fringe looks fuzzy in those squares.)
