AMP / CHAMP Insertion Tool Kit Palm Grip | 229451-1 | + Other Tools

The palm grip insertion tool is designed for individual wire terminations in CHAMP 14-, 24-, 36-, 50-, and 64-position connectors. Accessories that are used in conjunction with the tool consist of an index slide and cable clamp which assist in contact to tool alignment. The Palm-grip insertion tool utilizes a connector holding slide which allows single wire insertion, one side at a time, using a stepping action. Small and compact, the entire tool and slide fits in the palm of the hand. The palm grip insertion hand took kit is recommended for field application, repair, prototyping and low volume production.
