chelseaha I have recently been doing this as well for the past couple of weeks, and just deleting my videos once my sold items are accepted. Its sad we even have to do this. 😔

splove515 @chelseaha agreed! I had someone who gave me a 5 star review and told me they were in love with the shorts and had been wearing them all day. She came on 5 hours later and changed her rating and told me she "hadnt realized" the entire crotch was ripped from front to back. The item was NWT, in perfect condition. Clearly something happened while she was wearing them. Luckily she had already accepted the order but that's why I started.

chelseaha @splove515 wow!!! That is ridiculous. I recently followed a post about an awful girl who was scamming on multiple accounts. She would buy very expensive items, receive them, tell posh she didn’t receive the correct items, send them photos of a different item, posh agrees with her, she literally was sending back trash to the original seller and stealing their very expensive spell & the gypsy collective items! Insane. So that’s why I started actually.

splove515 @chelseaha oh my goodness that's awful! It's so horrible that people even do this kind of stuff. But I guess its expected these days. Luckily it doesnt seem to happen often. I'm glad you havent had it happen either!

soonerchef This breaks my heart that this has to be done. Saw a couple other Poshers posting this same thing. I'm sorry you are having to do this. Luckily I've only had 1 sale that I got a poor rating on and it's because the buckle on the boots snagged her couch. Hope you have more positive sales than bad. Happy Poshing. You have a great closet. :)

splove515 @soonerchef yes it is very sad. But I've had multiple people try to scam so I have to protect myself. I'm glad you have mainly had positive experiences! Happy pushing to you as well 💙

warmandfuzzy This is a good idea. I had one bad incident- a brand new Posher bought a pair of kids shoes from me and gave me a poor rating. Why? I don't know, because she gave no answer to my question. She accepted the shoes however. So, it was all okay. I wonder what Poshmark is doing about this??

splove515 @mycuteboutique1 I'm sorry you had that happen. I've had multiple people open up cases saying my item wasnt as described and they've all lost becauze of me documenting the condition my items are in at the time of purchase and shipment. It's a pain to do as it adds time to everything and it's sad that its necessary, but its definitely saved me at least 10 times by now. So sad people try to scam on here 😔 hopefully you have no more incidents like that happen!

dsestuff @splove515 I am with you ladies on pictures.. I have a pair of COLE HAAN LOAFERS they had been worn twice and the lady never asked were they Narrow it was shown in the pictures. It went to a case and they agreed with her , if it was so important why didn’t she ask 😳 she got her money back , and I never received my shoes that cost me a lot . It is a shame how people.

splove515 @dsestuff I'm so sorry that happened to you. I've been lucky and posh has always sided with me, besides one instance where I got to keep my money, and the buyer got refunded even though she had no proof to her claims and I had photo evidence proving she was lying. That one irritated me because i had proof that the item was in perfect condition and she lied and got refunded $40, so she got her brand new with tags item for free which is sickening.

dsestuff @splove515 I feel the same way , it was the first time it happened to me and I thought PM see that the AA was there in the pictures. They say it doesn’t affect our ratings,. I have had young buyers that got perfectly great items from Pink and gave me a 3 it upset me , I work hard at making sure my used items are clean no spots . I want to give my buyers the same ad I would like to receive. Have a blessed weekend

parisinpearls
parisinpearls Hello, may I use your sign? I recently had a buyer manipulate an item I sold to her so that she could return it. I notified PM that the item was brand new with no snags or pulls and had been shipped out out in perfect condition but they sided with her and allowed her to return it. Infuriating how unethical some people can be! I will now photograph and videotape everything I sell. Lesson learned.

splove515 @styleconfide feel free to use it! I'm sorry that happened to you. It's so upsetting that we have to do this. I do recommend that if you're photographing before sales, to write the buyers username and the sold date on a piece of paper and have that paper visible in all the photos you're taking that way you have proof of the condition at that time 💜 I hope you're never in that situation again. Happy new year!

heidizme I just going this. A buyer bought a bunch of Aldo purses on the same day..she gets mine gives me 5 stars and only says thank u...few weeks later I'm on a surprise 2 day vacation from my husband and she complained her daughter tells her no scarf on the purse. I was so upset it ruined my vacay. I said to her it was on with a price tag plastic thingy and tied on the bag no way I forgot it. I leave all tags on..

heidizme She argued that I better find the person who wrapped it up and mail it to her..i said lady I'm a one woman show i do it all. Then i remember my dad was watching me because he laughed and said why do you wear a scarf on a purse ( he is 79!) And saw me wrap it..she insisted i fix this do had to find and exact purse cut off that scarf and mail it. Now i have a scarf less purse yo sell..

splove515 @heidizme I'm sorry you went through that, definitely dont sell to her again. If I have trouble with anyone I block them so they cant purchase from me again. It's not worth the hassle

ultraviolettea
ultraviolettea @splove515 damn this scares me, i been on since sept and never had issues. I always wondered how PM handles disputes and its sad to see they usually side with scammer and have no repercussions for those that abuse disputes like that
Feb 15Reply
splove515
splove515 @ultraviolettea its definitely frustrating knowing that the money they take in fees from our sales is used to give money back to people in situations like that. I appreciate that they protect the buyer in instances where it really was misrepresented. But I do believe they need to have better review practices in place for repeat people, especially if the seller provides proof of the condition of the item. I'm glad you havent had any issues yet, and I hope it stays that way!
