Initially dropped in 1998, the symbolic Air Max Plus ‘Voltage Purple’ enjoyed a re-release in a new colorway in December 2018. The shoe's wavy layered upper, reminiscent of swaying palm trees, flaunts a gradient purple fade with black covering the plastic overlays, lacing, and mudguard.
