AFRICAN Ikoku FERTILITY DOLL / Turkana Region of Kenya / Carved Wood / Beaded

This hand-carved wood fertility doll, known as an Ikoku, was made in the North Western region of Turkana in Kenya. It has animal hide clothing which has been hand beaded. The doll is in very good condition for its age with a little bead loss and delicate hair that will come out if pulled on. This is not a toy and should be handled carefully. The overall height is 17 inches.
