This is a beautiful real peral sea shell and the inside has become over time a gorgeous mother of pearl and abalone with all the colors of the rainbow I purchased these in Hawaii and they can be used as a soap dish trinket box whatever you like they look beautiful anywhere. sparkie24 @pitatere52794 it is a big size I use mine as a soap dish in my bathroom it fits a bar of caress soap .the 5 oz bar. it is about 6 inches long and 4 1/2 across these are all hand made I have only two left. I got them in Hawaii thank you Dr Donna
