This is the Burroughs who yearned for connection, lived with regret, and learned the meaning of love from his cats. It’s also the Burroughs that inspired William Lee, the main character (and Burroughs stand-in) of Queer, directed by Luca Guadagnino. Featuring an introduction by screenwriter Justin Kuritzkes, passages from the novel Queer (1985), and archival photography of Burroughs.
