A 19th century backstamped R C Malmaison, a mark used from 1898 to 1906 by Rosenthal, is a white porcelain scalloped 8" plate with hand painted floral design. The plate has no chips or cracks. There is wear to the gold rim, consistent with a plate from the 1900s. but certainly does not detract from its beauty. Lovely, scalloped edge and blue accent with the gold trim that is worn.
