These handmade earrings are genuine carnelian slices encased in Sterling silver. .925 is hallmarked on earring hook. These earrings have a beautiful warm, fiery red-orange look to them. These are lightweight yet make an appearance. Including hook they hang approximately 1 1/4 inch. At its widest the stone is 3/4 inch (20x25 mm). Up close you are able to see some natural striations in the stones. Some of these striations have a natural chevron appearance. One earring has some natural spots as evidenced in pics.
