TRIVIA:
Jordache sprung on the market 1978 in the designer denim-era.
Many night clubs or discotecque hot spots did not allow blue jeans as part of the dress code and this made very many customers angry, as they got turned away at the entrance - wearing their $70 blue jeans! While flared jeans were popular in the 70s, wearing plain blue jeans to a disco would not have been considered "proper" attire. The disco style emphasized more glamorous & flashy clothing like sequined shirts, jumpsuits, and tailored suits, not casual denim.
Every woman looked good in a pair of Jordache jeans, the darker and tighter - the better!
