80s Ragtime Suit Vest

This has New Years Ragtime Gal vibes paired w/a top hat!?! Vintage 80s Italia Mexico Alcantara (a Mexican designer?) black tie suit top. So cool! Double-breasted buttons in front + inside button to keep it closed, faux front pockets & back tie to cinch waist. Satin lined collar/pockets/inside lining. Can't read the tag, but this fits like a Women’s M modeled on a S/M 34B 5'5". Unisex. I have room in the bust. Not sure of the material, probably polyester. In good used condition w/no noticeable flaws besides minor signs of wear & 1 run by the buttons (see pic). There was some underarm staining, but I was able to get that out. Tunic length, might work as a suit dress on someone petite?
