melissahartsell Good evening Bella, I was just browsing your closet. Yes, I have 3! Chocolate lab, Lasa Apso, & a cat. Both of my children are out of the house now. I'm a stay at home except for working 3 nights a week mom, too. I've actually started to go out & do more lately. So sorry to hear about your daughter. I've been a critical care nurse for 20+ years, so I have a big heart for those that are sick & their loved ones. It's a pleasure meeting you! 😊🌺. Do you live here in Texas?

bellasbeauties I live in Massachusetts , give your self a pat on the back for me. As I love nurses. I had a horrific accident when I was 15, I was literally run over and dragged by and eighteen wheeler truck. I was in the hospital for almost a year.. In the ICU unit for two months and the rest in pediatrics. I've had some of THE very best nurses and of course a couple I could e done with out.. But that's ok...

But then there are ppl that have touched my heart & soul that I will be eternally grateful for meeting & being a part of their stories. So sorry about your horrific experience as a youngster. imtheheppest @melissahartsell I heard you telling someone else that you work nights and I thought to myself "yay! A person like me!" Hehe. It's hard to adjust to. I had worked an hour later than I was scheduled since I was 2 days behind since I had been off Wednesday and Thursday for my college orientation, and since I can't leave with unfinished work, I stayed to get it done. But at least you understand! I typically just sleep my weekends away, especially Saturdays, so I was sleepy. But I couldn't have missed the party! 💕

imtheheppest @melissahartsell I'm so new too. I just joined in February and put together my closet in April finally lol. I'm still learning a lot, though. And girl, by the time I got home on Saturday after picking up a bookshelf from my friend's and getting it in my trunk, I had been up almost 24 hours and as soon as I laid down, I was out like a light haha. I slept for 10 hours after that. I think all of us night owls have some of those weeks, though! Haha 😜

imtheheppest @melissahartsell I'm probably going to cut an hour from my schedule every day so I won't feel rushed to get to class and I only have 2 classes each day, 4 classes in all. 2 on M,W,F and 2 on Tu and Th. I get out of those classes in time to get home and sleep. I have weekends off from work and school to work on homework and relax. It's going to be hard, but I'm testing it out for this fall semester to see if I can make it work. And I'll have an apartment on campus so I'm right up the street from my job instead of 30 mins away. But I had the option of taking some online, but the reviews for the professors weren't great so all are on campus. I'm majoring in physics. If the math ends up being too hard for me, I have back up options for myself of other things I'm passionate about :)

melissahartsell @imtheheppest That is awesome! I suck at math! lol I went back & got my bachelors a couple of years ago & had to take statistics I hated it b/c my mind just doesn't work that way. Haha. But I took most all of mine online & it was just a bunch of writing papers. I was so disgusted. I thought I would be learning more about what I do not leadership & crap like that. But I got through it & you will too. Besides your alot younger than me!

imtheheppest @melissahartsell I took mainly online classes when I went to TCC. I just mainly have to go to class for math since it's not my strong subject. I'm good at it if I have a good professor, but it just takes a bit for me to really get it. I'm having to take intermediate algebra again since I failed the math placement test. I hate timed tests where you can see the timer lol. It stresses me out, haha. So it's like taking high school algebra 2 for the 4th time haha. Not even college algebra. But I've found a couple of groups and clubs I want to join too. I'm really excited to be more involved on campus. I might even do this thing called Alternative Breaks where you go volunteer for different communities during winter or spring break :)

melissahartsell @imtheheppest that is great! 👏👏👏from my experience, which I probably have 20 yrs on you Lol...there is NOTHING better than volunteering for something in which you don't get "paid". I went to Haiti 6 weeks after the earthquake to help (I'm a nurse) for 8 days. It was so dang hot & miserable, but I had the BEST time just giving of myself & talents. I was on cloud 9 for about 3 months after that it was so good. So join anything & everything that you can fit into your schedule. 🌸🌸🌺🌺

imtheheppest @melissahartsell oh that is freaking awesome! 👏👏👏 😍 they went last year to help the victims of the tornados in Oklahoma. I went and bought necessities and donated blankets, clothes, and stuff for the people of West when that plant exploded too. Well, my mom let me use her card to buy the stuff. Going down there to bring it to them was such a great experience. They were giving everyone burgers and water for helping out ☺️ other than that and doing Relay for Life last year, I haven't done any volunteering and I'd love to do a lot more. As much as I can ☺️ I know my job would work around that during breaks, my boss is pretty cool about that stuff. I plan on trying to join a sorority too that volunteers for breast cancer research too :) and I'm joining an LGBTA group for those in that community or allies, and a leadership group that teaches leadership skills and volunteers around Arlington. I'm pretty excited about all of the opportunities :) I also want to look into studying abroad as well.

melissahartsell @imtheheppest WOW!! That's all awesome. I helped a girl out that was coming off drugs get a house from Habitat for Humanity. But that was work b/c we all built that house in like a week or 2. She's still drug free & paying for the house on her own. Everything we used to build the house was donated or used but in good condition. Do you live in Arlington? I come up there every once in awhile to visit my uncle. He owns an oil changing business off Lamar. Really nice people. If you do maybe we can hook up again. I need someone to show me how they make all those pretty designs. I got 1app but don't know how to use it 😰

imtheheppest @melissahartsell that's really amazing! I've thought about helping out with Habitat for Humanity before too and I'd love to volunteer for a suicide hotline and help people who have been where I've been long ago. I live in Burleson right now which is only about 20-30 minutes away. I work in Arlington, though. And I'll be hopefully living there in Arlington on campus soon, just need to put in an application for housing this week before I go on vacation. I'm still learning how to use some of the apps, but yeah! We can get together one day and I'll show you at least what I know ☺️
