70's Burgundy Velvet Formal with Cape

Splendid 1970's Burgundy velvet formal with matching cape. Lovely white bodice with Venetian lace accent, high color, and high waist. Long puffy sleeves with wide lace cuffs that snap. Lightly gathered long skirt. Zips in back with nylon zipper. The cape has a hook and eye and a frog closure at the neck. Side slits for arms. Fully lined in satin. She's about a size 4. We could not zip on our size 6 dress form. Please check midriff measurement. DRESS Shoulder to shoulder 16.5 Armpit to armpit 32 Where bodice meets skirt 13 Shoulder to where bodice meets skirt 13 Hips 22 Length 57.5 Sleeves from shoulder 20 Cape is 22 inches long. Flaws to note. Light stain on the lace, what looks like a ciggarette burn on the sleeve. A lovely dress for special occasions.
