Preowned, vintage and RARE Bonnie Cashin for Sills Burgundy Leather Coat with Cranberry knit lining, originally sold by Lord & Taylor's 'The Country Clothes Shop' in the 1970s. Made from supple burgundy leather, it features oversized front pockets and fastens with hidden buttons under the placket. The interior is lined in gorgeous cranberry knit, which keeps you toasty and feels so amazing against your skin! Bonnie Cashin was known for making incredibly stylish yet functional pieces and this coat is a great example of her design aesthetic! The big pockets hold a bunch, and the sleeves are somewhat short allowing one to "layer" - a Bonnie Cashin design concept! Leather Clean Only. Made in the USA. No size tag but we're estimating this as a modern size M, based on these measurements: shoulders - 15in, bust - 38in, waist - 32in, hips - 40, shoulder to hem - 36in, sleeves (Dolman, taken from natural shoulder) - 23in. Preowned/vintage with some signs of age, use and prior wear: some wrinkling and wear to leather, some teensy picks and digs, as you would expect from a 50+ yr old coat.
