Butterscotch colored smooth but solid leather. There are a variety of soft marks throughout but not from cuts or tears. It’s the normal use of the leather and needs treated and rubbed out. The underside of the strap has 2 marks from using purse gummies to keep strap from sliding on the shoulder. Not visible when in use. Purchased it new, has stuffed and stored. Not used often but is broken in. Sturdy hardware. Solid classic stitching. Buttery soft tan cashmere like interior. No stains. Zip pocket and several slip pockets with key holder inside. Approximately 11 in drop.
