What Jean/pant size are these comparable with? Do they run small?

I wear a size 27 typically in a jean. What size do you wear as I do have a booty as well. The measurements are a little confusing. Size chart says Small is Aus 8, a US 4

@heatheraaugust I normally wear a 28 or 29 in US brands like Good American or Veronica Beard. Based on the measurements for the waist and hips I thought these would fit me but, like I said, they didn’t fit around my booty. Sometimes I do wear a small in Chasing unicorns though so I thought I would give these a try since they are so gorgeous.
