This piece was created during the 1920s, the red "JAPAN" mark was the final assistance needed in putting an age/era on this piece. This jar depicts a beautiful scene of geisha girls, in their kimonos, at their okiya, surrounded by the beautiful landscape with floral masterpieces. The artist who hand painted this red trimmed with multi-colored floral piece paid attention to every detail. Please look over all pictures to see the intricate details of the artists rendition of Japanese life. The bottom has a Japanese stamp, but no makers mark. This item is vintage/Antique & as such has seen many years of use. I do my best to point out flaws, chips, cracks & wear of an item.
