Vintage Silk Kimono, Toffee with Ivory Lining

This Vintage Kimono is soooo gorgeous. Made of soft, sumptuous Toffee colored Silk, with a Pure White Lining. It measures 24” across, underarm to underarm from the back, and is 58” long. It is meant to be tied at the waist to bring in all of the fabric close to your body. The silk is embossed (slightly raised) in areas, featuring traditional Japanese designs like fans, flowers and fruit blossoms. The entire lining has (hand dyed) ombré edging. In Japan Kimonos are traditionally worn exclusively for formal occasions and secured with a wide, very long and heavy obi for formal (requiring an expert to properly fold, attach, tuck and tie it for the woman wearing it), but kimonos are generally sold here as elegant lounge wear, and can be secured at the waist much more simply with a tie or sash of your choice. (I do sell the obis in my Posh closet for decor purposes.) Amazing Condition. No stains, holes, “vintage odor” or other flaws. Please note the Obijime cord is not included; I use them for styling.
