Originally sold as the “Pochette-passeport” wallet. This long ago retired style, is a passport organizer with card slots and a zippered section. This piece was sold before date codes were introduced, so it doesn’t have one, it’s guaranteed authentic as i purchased it from a reputable seller, Bagriculture. For those who like or need a larger wallet, this is it, it fits a lot! and it looks cute on a chain as a wristlet or as a shoulder/crossbody purse. It has enough room for a smaller cell phone, as shown in the photo. Comes with red and gold trim chain strap and wallet insert, as shown in the pictures. As with most vintage Louis Vuitton wallets, it had corner rubbing and separation, missing areas of edge kote, and the leather inside showed scratches or wear. I repaired all of that. The zipper works smoothly and the snap is snappy. The coin compartment does still have some minor coin residue, but I cleaned it and recoated with sheen polish. The outside canvas is still beautiful, just very minor fading which is only visible under the flap. This vintage beauty is completely ready to use!
