Vintage 60’s Pair of Smokey The Bear Ranger Ceramic Salt & Pepper Shakers

Vintage 1960’s pair of vintage Smokey Bear salt and pepper shakers from the mid-20th century. Fantastic condition They are vintage salt and pepper shakers shaped like Smokey Bear Forest Ranger They are made of ceramic and feature a wood-tone glaze. The shakers are designed with Smokey Bear wearing his signature ranger hat and uniform. They were manufactured by Twin Winton of California producing Smokey Bear merchandise during that era. These types of shakers are considered collectible items, especially among Smokey Bear and vintage memorabilia enthusiasts. They were produced in the 1960s Both still have their original stoppers and the maker engraved on bottom of both, shown in pics Smokey Bear is a fictional bear created in 1944 by the U.S. Forest Service and the Ad Council to promote fire prevention. The character's image has appeared on posters, stamps, and in films, cartoons, and comic strips. Smokey's original catchphrase was "Smokey Says – Care Will Prevent 9 out of 10 Forest Fires".
