Cobalt Blue Gold Gilded Porcelain Vase W/Hand Painted Dragons RW Rudolf Wachter This is an exquisite Cobalt Blue Gold Gilt accented Porcelain Vase with Hand Painted white Dragons with gold gilding accents as well. The vase produced in the 1930's -1940's In the Germany US Zone in Bavaria by RW Rudolf Wachter. The vase is a gorgeous cobalt blue and has gold gilding in a swirl pattern around the rim and base and in the center in a relief swirl accenting white glaze. There are two meticulously painted white dragons with intricately accented gold gilding floating through the cobalt blue field flanking the perimeter of the vase equidistant on both sides. The RW US-ZONE logo is imprinted on the underside of the vase. The vase measures approximately 9" high by 7" wide, 4.5" at the base and 7" at the upper rim. The vase is in wonderful condition with no cracks or dings and very minor wear on the cobalt blue surface and on the gold gilt rim, but this does not take away from the overall fabulous presentation. This vase is a centerpiece conversation starter and has an interesting origin from the post WWII era. It is Stunning!
