Is this listing inappropriate? Report Listing

thedealmamaGreat tips! I am hosting a birthday party live show and shamelessly self promoting it here because if you have a posh question, I would love to answer it during the party!

Dec 09Reply

wornbyanaYay @dvelvethanger

Dec 09Reply

dolphinbay3Good Tip! Over the Holidays it would be nice if Poshmark did $5.95 shipping; it would encourage sales. Almost $8 shipping is discouraging to a lot of would be buyers.

Dec 09Reply

tritekastyledme@thedealmama 😂 that’s so ♐️ of you, lol let me follow you

Dec 09Reply

madd_asherxx@dolphinbay3 girlll, you took the words right out my mouth loll. Now that'd be nice... Heyy gotta think tho, well at least for ambassadors they were discounting shipping till 12/31/24 @11:59pm. But we all seen how that went. 😬 😂😂 Fr tho, I genuinely appreciate your clever simple comment, it was epic & absolutely hilarious! Wishing you MANY Happy & SPEEDY Sales!! 🥳🛍️🤑

Dec 09Reply

its_charmcity@dolphinbay3 AGREE!!! OR EVEN BETTER FREE!! i MADE A PURCHASE I WOULDNT NORMALLY WHEN I GOT FREE SHIPPING

Dec 09Reply

imanifest_vYou go girl 🔥❤️💗 I’m here for it LOVE THIS FOR YOU🙌🏾 an (true don’t look at the numbers just your items and the chat )

Dec 09Reply

sugarqube@dolphinbay3 that makes too much sense for this company considering they reward us with different app covers for our streaks 😆🫠🙏

Dec 09Reply

dvelvethanger@imanifest_v , thank you 🫶🏼

Dec 09Reply

dvelvethanger@wornbyana , thank you 🫶🏼

Dec 09Reply

adelinexoEverything in my closet is free shipping through February! I know, the $8 shipping is crazy 😱

Dec 09Reply

1sarahbaker1Check your campaigns! Posh gives us opportunities to earn free shipping for our buyers in shows!

Dec 09Reply

bribaby1803I did a show had 1 person in it we had fun It makes me happy with 2

pooh28bearHappy Holidays 🎈🎊🎉🥳🌟 Great tips💯

Dec 10Reply

happily_humming@thedealmama nothing wrong with that! Got to get the word out somehow

Dec 10Reply

happily_humming@sugarqube i thought it would eventually change but nope.

Dec 10Reply

closetofchaos23It definitely can be discouraging with low viewers. I've had many many shows where I only had one other person, but I always finish the tray at least. Keep Going :)

Dec 10Reply

julesnicholsssLove this! @dvelvethanger 💫

Dec 10Reply

kels834❤️🍒🔴❤️🍒🔴❤️🍒🔴

Dec 10Reply

jayedsullivan@dolphinbay3 agreed

Dec 10Reply

surelymine@closetofchaos23 what does it mean to finish a tray. I’m new with live streaming

Dec 10Reply

swiftt22Thank you for this encouragement. Sometimes, it's very disheartening, but I keep Poshing. 😊🙏💕

Dec 10Reply

swiftt22@ani_4m_reyes @lenny_reyes ... 😊🫶💕

Dec 10Reply

celestreasuresHi, thank you for sharing this great tip. It was something I learned later that I wish I had learned sooner. During the lower viewer part of your Live Show journey is the best time to build meaningful relationships. These are the people who will be there whether you have 10 or 100 viewers. People will outlast purchases!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Dec 10Reply

adelarpour@poshshowhub 🙏❤️

Dec 10Reply

lenny_reyes@swiftt22 🤗

Dec 10Reply

breezy8312@thedealmama you go girl! Be shameless!!💖

Dec 10Reply

breezy8312@dolphinbay3 @poshshowshub, I concur!

Dec 10Reply

breezy8312@its_charmcity ditto!!! @poshshowshub I made a purchase due to discounted shipping & free shipping ALSO! Many times, actually!

Dec 10Reply

closetofchaos23@surelymine hi, the tray is what you auction from in your shows. you put the items you want to showcase in it :)

Dec 10Reply

charitylaneIt’s true!!! 🫶

Dec 10Reply

luckydream@celestreasures Hi! Agreed. Thank you for sharing these words of encouragement. Have a wonderful holiday season! 🥰❤️🎄🎁🛍

Dec 10Reply

celestreasures@luckydream Thank you and I hope you enjoy the holidays 🎄 as well!!

Dec 10Reply

luckydream@celestreasures Thanks so much! 🥰🎄🎁❤️❤️❤️

Dec 10Reply

tuohys@luckydream I was doing a live last night and couldn't figure out how to do the Giveaway wheel that Poshmark now offers. couldn't figure out how to start it anywhere. any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Dec 10Reply

daughter14@dvelvethanger You go girl! You’re an amazing host & I appreciate all you do for us! Hard work pays off & it shows ! Xo sue

Dec 10Reply

luckydream@tuohys Create a listing with “Giveaway” in the listing title and add it to your show. Tap the Giveaway icon and select the duration to start. I believe it’s 1 min, 2 mins, 5 mins and 10 mins options.

Dec 10Reply

luckydreamDuring that time while the giveaway is running, you can tell your viewers more about your closet, etc. Remind viewers that they have to be present in order to have a chance to win. If they leave the show and come back they’ll have to reenter. It’s free shipping for them. If you want, encourage winner to bundle from your closet since winner gets free shipping 😊

Dec 10Reply

luckydream@tuohys The 5 Sec counter pops up automatically followed by the wheel and winner will be randomly chosen. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.🥰🍀🎄🛍

Dec 10Reply

luckydream@dvelvethanger Thanks so much for giving these words of encouragement! We greatly appreciate it. Have a wonderful holiday season! 🥰🎄🛍🎁

Dec 10Reply

Dec 10Reply

emmaashopThank you.

Dec 10Reply

luckydream@tuohys you’re very welcome!! Good luck 🥰🍀🛍

Dec 10Reply

exotic_orchid@celestreasures So true!! And the loyal repeat customers are your bread and butter!!

Dec 10Reply

celestreasures@imanifest_v 🥰

Dec 10Reply

celestreasures@exotic_orchid Amen ~ so true!! 🥰

Dec 10Reply

secondjam@dolphinbay3, that would be a great idea, to lower shipping, the high shipping cost is hard for some shoppers if they are purchasing just a low price item. High shipping costs don't motivate people to bundle either.

Dec 10Reply

dragonangel75@closetofchaos23 Same here it gets frustrating but i do the same, and if anyone is like me lol people are usually strapped for cash around the holidays, if i keep these things in mind I don't get as frustrated!!!! and i have met some pretty awesome people!

Dec 10Reply

lstar101112@breezy8312 yes even with a low cost item the high shipping usually stops me from buying, kinda sucks

Dec 10Reply

closetofchaos23@dragonangel75 Yes, of course! I love this mindset and think the same way :)

Dec 10Reply

aliciagreen472i have e treme anxiety with talking to other people. any tops on how I can maintain during live posh shows

Dec 10Reply

neatrepeats@luckydream even though the buyer gets free shipping from the freebie, isn’t the shipping paid for by the seller? They give away an item and pay shipping out of pocket. That was how I understood it. I didn’t think Posh was paying the shipping for the free item. Please elaborate. I haven’t done it yet

Dec 10Reply

shonuff6867@surelymine

Dec 10Reply

luckydream@neatrepeats Yes, you’re right. The seller pays for the shipping out of pocket. The winner gets free shipping. The way I understood the perk was that since they’re getting free shipping it giving them an incentive to bundle and purchase items from your closet.

Dec 10Reply

luckydream@neatrepeats I know when Posh first rolled this feature out, they gave sellers until 11/24 to try the giveaway feature and would reimburse the first time shipping cost. I don’t know if they’re going to do this again. Hope this helps. Perhaps, another Posher can also weigh in and correct me if I’m wrong. 😊🍀🛍

Dec 10Reply

shonuff6867@luckydream doing my first show with a friend Sunday great to know Thnx 🤩🤩🤩❤️

Dec 10Reply

luckydream@fsglwbj7 you’re very welcome!! Good luck 😊🍀Have fun & have an awesome show!!! 🥰🍀🛍🎄🎁

Dec 10Reply

srhardrick9636This is something I always tell myself and others. Just show up for your closet that you’ve worked hard on. People love consistency and showing up for any viewers is always a plus. Great Tips

nannym7@its_charmcity me as well. Great deminder

Dec 11Reply

its_charmcity@nannym7 ♥️

Dec 11Reply

gearheadgirl50@dolphinbay3 I agree

Dec 11Reply

gearheadgirl50@sugarqube 🤣

Dec 11Reply

gearheadgirl50@luckydream so what do they win?

Dec 11Reply

gearheadgirl50@secondjam yep I agree but it's the post office rates that keep going up and I don't understand why if a buyer chooses to buy more than 5 lb the seller has to pay the extra shipping I cannot afford to do that

Dec 11Reply

gearheadgirl50@luckydream that's crappy!

Dec 11Reply

gearheadgirl50I'm not comfortable doing live shows because I'm disabled and have no one to help me.ivevtried silent ones and only 1-2 people have come in and my prices are so low and the lives have taken greatly from my sales.i can't do $3 items

Dec 11Reply

celestreasures@srhardrick9636 Totally agree, my friend 💐

Dec 11Reply

acelestialsoul@gearheadgirl50 Me, too. Hip / back injury. Can’t do live shows. ❤️❤️❤️TODAY: pay 1/2 price on bundles of 3 or more listings! Put a bunch in your bundle and send me a half-price offer!❤️❤️❤️

Dec 11Reply

luckydream@gearheadgirl50 They win whatever item you choose to do as a giveaway from your closet. 🎁🍀

Dec 11Reply

shopforless2@dvelvethanger you are an amazing Host. always with great tips! 🥰

Dec 11Reply

bloomingbrshpk@poshshowshub I truely believe in it. I’ve had one in my live and sold many Items. I sell on live earrings for ($3 a pair) and brooches ($4 each). Join me in my live shows. Can’t beat the price

Dec 11Reply

clarissalove456@1sarahbaker1 this is true!

Dec 11Reply

clarissalove456Thanks for the tip !

Dec 11Reply

deborahbrown777@dolphinbay3 yes I agree it would probably help shipping is out of this world! I had something to sell and I was going to make 32.00 but shipping was going to be 95.00 CRAZY

Dec 11Reply

freedomreinsllc@dolphinbay3 yes I agree!

Dec 11Reply

derastylez@dolphinbay3 When posh recently had its $1.99 shipping thanksgiving week I finally made sales through a live. I didn’t have much ppl at peek (7ppl) but 1 person bought 3 things because shipping was only $2. Having no one buy or only 3ppl in your show can be discouraging. Free shipping definitely help but it’s even better when it’s a Posh Promotion because sellers can give better deals & don’t have to worry about extra money coming out of their pocket to cover shipping discount. @poshshowshub

Dec 11Reply

tarahscloset27@surelymine it basically means running all your items you have up for auction in your show. the tray is your line up of items to be auctioned

Dec 11Reply

carlie3456Thanks for the tips, very helpful🫧💗

Dec 11Reply

flashbackclosetThank you for the advice, but how can I do it?

Dec 11Reply

1sarahbaker1@aliciagreen472 Im the same way and I’ve been doing lives on and off for 2 years. I have to psych myself out, go pee like 3 times (just me?)🤣 and then when I turn the camera on I try not to look at myself and just pretend I’m talking to someone I know about clothes and keep it moving. Sometimes it works, sometimes I end really fast. I’m always proud of myself for trying though 🫶🏼

Dec 11Reply

avocado2006@adelinexo awesome 😎 and kind💜🤩✅

Dec 11Reply

_mojojojo@sugarqube 😂😂😂 took the words out of my mouth. I am at 20.

Dec 11Reply

kathyroop67thank u for the tips.

Dec 11Reply

kathyroop67@dolphinbay3 I totally agree and I try to adjust my price to help them out which means I am losing money.

Dec 11Reply

unique_luxury@dolphinbay3 I agree

Dec 11Reply

baublesbargains@thedealmama happy birthday!!

Dec 11Reply

thedealmama@baublesbargains aw you are so sweet! Today is actually Poshmark’s 13th birthday, so, happy birthday poshmark! @marrc @poshshowshub @trends @luxury @poshkicks! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Dec 12Reply

lizwchadwick@dolphinbay3 yes agreed

Dec 12Reply

darlascottageIf you do low starts, then it absolutely matters to have a lot of people in your show to bid. But I’ve had some good shows with only 5 viewers.
