VTG Gunmetal Taffeta Beauty

Voluminous Taffeta Floor Length Evening Skirt in Gunmetal, Vintage 90’s Barami. Perfect for your next elegant night on the town. Constructed with layers: the exterior skirt and a full lining in black, with tulle encircling the lining from about knee level (depending on your height) down. There is a side zipper. The belt is not included, I added it for styling inspiration. Shown with a fitted black velvet shell (also not for sale) and I recommend one, or at least something fitted. And maybe an ornate belt like mine to bring them together. So, so gorgeous! Purchased years ago at my old haunt, the now defunct “The Closet”, in Boston’s Copley Square. Labeled a Size 6 but the waist measures 13” max. I put it high on the waist of my dress form where her waist measures 12” and had to clip about an inch to make it snug. Approx. 38.5” long. No fabric tag anymore. The last photo came out darker than the actual color. It has an iridescence to it so it really depends on the lighting but it’s a beautiful dark-silvery gunmetal. First photo is most accurate. Excellent vintage condition!
