I founded the boot company, Heritage Boot, in Austin Texas and these western mules were made by the same 3rd generation bootmaker, (Don Quijote in Leon, Mexico) that we use to make our boots. I no longer own the company but I can tell you that these are made by the best bootmaker in Mexico. In fact, he has never made boots for people in Mexico because they would be too expensive for that market. His boots have always been sold in the USA.
