@jaredhanlon2015 Hello 👋🏻 I asked the exact same question when I purchased the bag, since I'm allergic to both! No, no smoke or perfume, the seller disclosed that it had a little bit of a "storage" smell. I bought it and put silica packages in it and they absorbed everything, so it doesn't smell like anything to me. It's a beautiful bag, I just don't reach for it, as I tend to always use smaller crossbody bags these days. Thank you and please let me know if you have further questions.
