It most likely will not be running upon arrival. Unlike battery-powered timepieces, any wind-up watch WILL NOT work until it is properly wound. To sufficiently wind a hand-winding watch, please turn the crown in its original position for 10-15 rounds or until it becomes tight. To wind a self-winding or automatic watch, please shake it firmly and repeatedly for 20 to 30 times and keep it in motion by wearing it for an extended time.
