The candles have been burned down a little for effect and has been used for decor. The item comes with a stoneware brown square shaped plate (that is dishwasher safe (when you would like to clean it) has no chips/cracks or damage of any kind, may shows signs of wear from candles (minor if any). The item also includes all the decorative stones plus an additional bundle of decorative stones (just added additional decorative stone bundle) and 3 candles: Burgundy (Large Pillar)/ Cream (Medium Pillar) and Teal colored ((small pillar with burlap decor around it) as well. The item comes from a smoke free home. We have changed the decor in our home and no longer have a need for the item any longer, the candles have been used as a display for years and were just burned down for the effect and have hours of burn time left if you choose to use them or you can display them as we did.
