Large Mid Century Modern porcelain ceramic statue. Unmarked, but generally attributed to McCoy, circa 1950s. Lustrous bright butter yellow glaze with glossy finish. Measures an impressive 15” long by nearly 6” high! Like it’s more common counterpart, the black panther, this Crouching Lion on the Prowl would have been exhibited on the living room TV, console or piano. Ideal for display on a mantel, mid century book shelf or atop a stack on coffee table art books. Excellent condition free of chips and cracks.
